3. Elizabeth Lim

Elizabeth Lim (or Liz for short) is a designer by day and illustrator by night. Actively doodling since she was a kid, drawing is always a fresh experience for her. She loves how illustration integrates reality, fantasy, and communication all in one and bridges new and exciting worlds between the artist and their audience. What fascinates her the most about illustrating is that anyone can do it and yet, the stories and messages one tells through illustration transcend beyond language, cultural and societal barriers. It’s also very useful for asking directions while traveling. When she is not drawing or thinking about what to draw next, Liz tends to her mini garden of cactuses and succulents.

4. Lee Kowling

Lee Kowling is a mother of two, daughter and son, she decided to spend time with them in their early childhood by working at home as a freelance designer.

Kowling is a known illustrator in the industry and has illustrated many works which include , ‘A Home in the Sky’ by Jessie Wee; ‘Chilli Padi’ by Adeline Foo; ‘Miss Missy Mynah’ by Suchen Christine Lim; and the ‘Pittodrie Pirates’ Book Series by Lynette Morrison. She has also illustrated stories on big books for primary and kindergarten assigned by the Ministry of Education (Singapore). Kowling has numerous children's books published overseas, with Australians writers for ‘The wombat Stoles My Shoe‘ by Katrina Griffiths and ‘Hello Cyber Grannie‘ by Jane Tyrrell.

Kowling currently holds art workshops and classes for children in Kindergarten. For older kids and adults, she conducts private lessons and focuses mainly on charcoal, watercolour and acylic painting are what she enjoys most.
